Dr. Ann Grimwood is a dedicated naturopathic doctor with a passion for fostering inclusive, culturally competent healthcare and advancing the naturopathic profession. With over a decade of experience in clinical practice and academia, Dr. Grimwood has a proven track record in teaching, clinical supervision, and community-based healthcare.
After earning her Doctor of Naturopathy at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) Toronto Campus in 2014, Dr. Grimwood moved to Vancouver to complete a 2-year Clinical Residency at CCNM’s Boucher Campus where she later served as Adjunct Faculty member and Associate Professor. During her time at Boucher, Dr. Grimwood developed and instructed a course on health equity, cultural competency, and trauma-informed care. Additionally, she was a lecturer, curriculum developer, and course coordinator for the clinical sciences program, and an integral member of the clinical education team, overseeing student competencies in intravenous therapy, physical exams (including pelvic & pap exams), and lab diagnosis. As a Clinical Supervisor, she mentored students at various community health clinics, including the Vancouver Women’s Health Collective and Katzie First Nation, while supporting patient-centered care through naturopathic modalities such as lifestyle counseling, nutrition, and acupuncture.
Dr. Grimwood is deeply committed to community service, having contributed to global health initiatives in Nicaragua as a volunteer naturopathic doctor and Vice President of Natural Doctors International. She has also demonstrated leadership through her role as a Board Director for the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors since 2020.
Her clinical focus includes women’s health, mental health, chronic disease management, and 2SLGBTQIA+ care with an emphasis on evidence-based practices and patient autonomy. Dr. Grimwood is dedicated to creating a safe, trusting environment for her patients, prioritizing active listening, empathy, and informed decision-making.
A licensed Naturopathic Doctor in Ontario, she is certified in prescriptive authority, and continually engages in professional development, including courses on unconscious bias in medicine and Indigenous cultural safety. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Grimwood enjoys outdoor activities such as cycling, camping, canoeing, and hiking with her two golden retrievers.
Dr. Grimwood’s diverse experience, strong leadership, and commitment to health equity make her a respected figure in the naturopathic community and an advocate for accessible, compassionate healthcare.
Dr. Grimwood is a member, in good standing, with the College of Naturopaths Of Ontario and maintains professional memberships with the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.

Marlene Stirrett-Matson Registered Psychotherapist
Marlene Stirrett-Matson, MACP, Registered Psychotherapist Marlene graduated from Yorkville University with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and has a diploma in Dance/Movement Therapy from the National Centre for Dance Therapy in Montreal. Marlene also has a BA in history from Lakehead University and an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Arts in dance from York University. Marlene offers a variety of approaches and tailors it to the needs of each client. Marlene is an EMDR Clinician, offering Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. Marlene is trained in Internal Family Systems through the Canadian association IFSCA. Marlene has training in grief counselling, trauma, polyvagal theory, neurodivergence and ADHD, narrative therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, and Level 2 Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Marlene is an approved NIHB provider. Dr. Cristina Fata ND graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Lakehead University and a Doctorate of Naturopathy from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She is a general naturopathic practitioner with additional certification in cosmetic acupuncture and facial rejuvenation.
As someone who has lived through a thyroid cancer diagnosis, Cristina believes that patient-centred individualized care has a pivotal role to play in our healthcare system. After working with the government for many years, she took a volunteer leave and began her massage therapist journey. She fell in love with the field and has been practicing ever since. Dr. Amanda Mithrush’s passion for sports and her fascination with understanding how the body works has fueled her desire to pursue a career in health care. As a cum laude graduate from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, and a CIS Academic All - Canadian varsity soccer athlete from Sir Wilfrid Laurier University where she graduated with an Honours BA in Kinesiology & Physical Education she was able to combine science and physical health to foster her aspiration for rehab, exercise and living a healthy lifestyle.
In practice, she combines manual therapy, soft tissue therapy/instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, exercise prescription and clinical acupuncture to guide her patients on a path of optimal functioning and well-being. Moreover, she prides herself in being thorough and spending her time with patients to determine the underlying cause of their pain, using evidence-based practice and a tailored treatment plan to help each reach their individual goals.
